Street party was held in Hurghada- Red Sea with an ‘I Love Egypt’ theme, to thank the tourists that have kept coming to Egypt throughout the recent political events in Egypt.

There were live bands on stage as free food and drink was provided by hotels and beverage companies. ‘I Love Egypt 2011′ T-shirts were handed over to the crowd and the celebrations were covered by local and international media.

The day was organized through a Facebook page with tour companies provide buses for tourists so they could go to and from the festivities. The aim is to encourage people to return to this normally bustling resort and have a day of fun and celebration in the process.
